The Washington Post is working overtime to poo poo the amazing run the stock market has been on over the past year. They are spinning out fake news and false quotes by Trump’s children now about 401k plans being up 35%, and retirement. The Washington Post falsely claimed that Eric Trump said: “I just opened up my 401(k), I haven’t looked at in a year. It’s up by 35 percent. I didn’t think retirement was possible.”
Only problem is, Eric Trump wasn’t bragging about his own 401k and “retirement” possibilities. Instead, Eric Trump was refering to coversations he’s had with other people about the stock market.
Washington Post fake news: Smears Eric Trump over false 401k quote |

The only problem: Trump never actually claimed his own retirement account was doing well. He was simply repeating what people on the street told him.
“Every single day I walked on the street and people come up to me,” Trump actually said. “They hugged me. ‘Tell your father we say thank you. You know what, I just opened up my 401(k), I haven’t looked at in a year. It is up by 35 percent. I mean, I didn’t think retirement was possible.'”
Keep it up WashPoo. You are very fake news.
