Now that Jeff the Flake is going to do all he can to sabotage Trump’s agenda because Flake is so widely unpopular in Arizona, he can’t run for re-election. Instead, Martha McSally and Joe Arpaio running, and at least as of now it’s close. Martha McSally leader Sheriff Joe by just two points.31% to 29%. McSally is a NeoCon in the style of John McCain and is the establishment’s pick for the election. The actual Arizona GOP primary election isn’t until late August. Considering the kind of “Republicans” Arizona continues to send to the senate like McCain and the Flake, Ii would think McSally is favored in this race.

A Tuesday poll from ABC15/OHPI shows Joe Arpaio skyrocketing to the top of the Republican Primary for U.S. Senate in Arizona.
The poll, conducted the same day Arpaio announced his Senate run, shows the former sheriff with 29% of the vote, a statistical tie with first place candidate Martha McSally at 31%.
Former state senator Kelli Ward, who has been the front runner in recent polls, drops to 25% in this latest survey.
