The first NFL playoff game of 2018 kicked off in Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium and as we have seen all regular season, there were plenty of empty seats, even for a playoff game. I’m willing to bet the ratings for this sucked too. The game later tonight in Los Angeles should be another embarrassingly small crowd for an NFL playoff game.

Of course, there will be the usual excuses. The weather was cold will likely be the main excuse used for this pitiful crowd. It used to be that every NFL stadium was sold out on Sunday, except in a few cities like Atlanta. As the regular season proved for the second year in a row, that isn’t the case anymore as people are sick and tired of millionaire players trying to claim they are victims of “oppression” or something.
Playoff games were sellouts no matter where they were played. That’s pretty much been broke this season with the start of the playoffs in Kansas City.
