Sex Offender Chad Eugene Sevearance has been forced to resign from Charlotte’s LGBT Chamber of Commerce. Just another Democrat and another sex offender. When will it end? Chad Sevearance-Turner was a major opponent of the North Carolina “bathroom bill.” Now you know why. Chad Sevearance-Turner was also named “Man of the year” by Qnotes in 2015.

The Human Rights Campaign was so impressed with Chad Severance they recognized the Charlotte LGBT Chamber of Commerce the North Carolina’s Organization of the Year award at their Charlotte gala in February. This award comes on the heels of an announcement of the Chamber’s President, Chad Turner winning the Person of the Year Award by qnotes, the area’s largest LGBT newspaper and was celebrated by Mayor Jennifer Roberts, who spent her first day in office with the LGBT Charlotte Chamber. In 2015 Chad Severance married and changed his name to Chad Turner.
In 2015 Chad Severance, a convicted sex offender, gathered data and surveyed the community see if discrimination existed in Charlotte in order to help pass the Charlotte ordinance. Upon learning of the convictions, Tami Fitzgerald of the NC Values Coalition said, “Any supposed evidence provided by the (LGBT Chamber of Commerce) group is discredited. Criminal records show that Mr. Severance was arrested on three counts of “committing or attempting a lewd act upon a child under the age of 16” in the state of South Carolina, and was convicted on one count, and sentenced to ten years in jail. Sex offenders will be the beneficiaries of the proposed ordinance, because it will provide legal cover for men to enter women’s bathrooms and locker rooms. It would be unethical to accept “data” from a clearly biased and discredited institution, such as the Charlotte LGBT Chamber of Commerce and present it as fact.”
