You’ve got to love watching the media melt down before your very eyes. Just last week it was Matt Lauer going down for sexual harassment. Then it was Brian Ross being suspended for four weeks (during the holidays) for spreading fake news that tanked the stock market. Now today it’s none other than NBC hack Joe Scarborough spreading fake news about Orrin Hatch, the GOP tax bill and CHIP. These hacks just can’t help themselves.
.@SenOrrinHatch talking about children's health care: “I have a rough time wanting to spend billions and billions and trillions of dollars to help people who won’t help themselves – won’t lift a finger – and expect the federal government to do everything.”

Joe Scarborough spreads fake news about Orrin Hatch and GOP tax bill |

Only problem is:
No. He was not talking about CHIP in that quote. He co-wrote bill to extend funding for it and, if you watch the whole clip, says he will see to it himself that CHIP funding is extended https://t.co/2KAbP3WV17

Compare the retweet and favorites between Joe Scarborough’s fake news vs. that of Ali Rogin’s clarification tweet. At the time of this post Scarborough has over 11,000 retweets on fake news while Rogin has only a little over 400 retweets on her correction of Scarborough. This is how the fake news liberal media complex works. This is the same type of crap pulled by Brian Ross. His fake news got over 25,000 retweets. The so called “clarification” from ABC got a fraction of what the original tweet got from Ross and ABC. Of course NBC and MSNBC is the home of openly racist and homophobic hacks like Joy Reid, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.
