At Fox News, it doesn’t get much lower than Geraldo Rivera. Ok maybe Shepard Smith is worse or at least equal. But what Geraldo Rivera tweeted today, in defense of scum Matt Lauer claiming that you can’t ‘flirt’ anymore in the news business pissed off a lot of people and rightfully so.
Sad about @MLauer great guy, highly skilled & empathetic w guests & a real gentleman to my family & me. News is a flirty business & it seems like current epidemic of #SexHarassmentAllegations may be criminalizing courtship & conflating it w predation. What about #GarrisonKeillor?

Thankfully, enough complaints were sent to Fox News for them to issue a statement:
Fox News Statement on @GeraldoRivera's tweets:
"Geraldo's tweets do not reflect the views of Fox News or its management. We were troubled by his comments and are addressing them with him." https://t.co/Q1z3Lkyo0P

That statement is of course toothless and unless Fox News fires Rivera for his disgusting defense of Lauer, it will only add to their already crumbling reputation.
