It’s getting even dirtier in the whole Roy Moore thing. The Washington Post is claiming that a fake person doing robocalls under the name of Bernie Bernstein digging for dirt on Moore and offering to pay women $5,000-$7,000. The Washington Post denies that this is a reporter from their “news” organization and that they did not initiate the robocall. And I actually believe them, because I don’t think the Washington Post would be this stupid.
The fake Bernie Bernstein sounds like someone with either a New York or Massachusetts accent and even that sounds like it’s been faked.

“Hi, this is Bernie Bernstein, I’m a reporter for the Washington Post calling to find out if anyone at this address is a female between the ages of 54 to 57 years old willing to make damaging remarks about candidate Roy Moore for a reward of between $5000 and $7000 dollars. We will not be fully investigating these claims however we will make a written report. I can be reached by email at albernstein@washingtonpost.com, thank you.”
I mean really. If you are going to use a fake name, you can’t do better than Bernie Bernstein? That right there is a dead give-away that this is a fake robocall. Also, if the Roy Moore campaign is in anyway involved with this fake robocall, I’m done with him.
