Colin Kaepernick is GQ’s citizen of the year for 2017. Forget all the first responders to victims of Hurricane Harvey or Irma. Forget those who helped get people to safety during the Las Vegas shooting, or who chased down and got the militant liberal who shot up a church in Sutherland Texas. GQ’s citizen of the year is an American hating unemployed football player who made tens of millions of dollars while being oppressed. But he could be bothered to stand for the national anthem because oppression and racism or something.

Colin Kaepernick being GQ’s citizen of the year puts in him good company though. Pedophile Kevin Spacey was GQ’s “Power broker of the year” in 2013. Louis C.K. who admitted to jacking off in front of women was GQ’s “comic genius” man of the year in 2011.
