Mexico City has been hit by a devastating 7.1 earthquake, knocking down buildings and halting trading on the Mexican stock exchange. In an sad, ironic twist, the 7.1 earthquake to hit Mexico City today comes on the 32nd anniversary of the big Mexico City quake. In 1985, Mexico City was devastated by a then record earthquake that killed hundreds of people.
