I guess Stephen Colbert and all the Trump bashing last night at the Emmy awards didn’t interest that many people in America. So few people in fact, the 2017 Emmy Awards now have the distincion of being the lowest rated Emmy Awards ever! Last year was the previous low, as this is a trend, not an anomaly. Not even sell-out Sean Spicer could help get people to watch this dismal performance last night that was more about bashing Trump and his voters than actual entertainment and comedy. The viewing audience continues to drop year after year because no one cares to watch a bunch of self absorbed Hollywood liberals pat themselves on their back. It shows how out of touch they are with the rest of America.

The 69th Primetime Emmys spent three hours Sunday night attacking President Donald Trump and the show is on track to experience an all-time low in the ratings.
After, last year’s award show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel came in with the lowest numbers in the show’s history, early numbers from Nielsen data show that this year’s star-studded event hosted by Stephen Colbert did even worse, according to a report Monday by Variety
In the coveted adult demographic for ages 18-49, the award show received only 2.2 million viewers, with 9.6 million total viewers Sunday night. In comparison, last year’s numbers in the same demographic received 2.5 million viewers, and 9.7 million viewers overall. Those numbers were later adjusted to 2.8 million within the demographic, and 11.3 million for the entire audience.In 2015, the Emmys netted a 3.6 million viewers in the same demographic and 11.9 million viewers total for the star-studded show.
Here’s a thought to the eggheads who plan these awards show. Get someone who is actually funny and who isn’t all about politics. Maybe someone like Kevin Hart next year?
