ESPN pulled Asian-American Robert Lee from the broadcast of a college football game between University of Virginia VS. William and Mary. They pulled Lee because they thought his name was offensive since it sounds like confederate Robert E. Lee. This is what the dumb-asses at ESPN used as an excuse to pull Lee:
ESPN issues ridiculous statement on removing Robert Lee |

“We collectively made the decision with Robert to switch games as the tragic events in Charlottesville were unfolding, simply because of the coincidence of his name. In that moment it felt right to all parties. It’s a shame that this is even a topic of conversation and we regret that who calls play-by-play for a football game has become an issue.”
So an Asian-American sportscaster’s name is offensive because it sounds like some old confederate’s name from the 1800’s. Hey ESPN (owned by ABC and Nazi Disney), are you still wondering why you keep losing viewers?
