Last night, left wing domestic terrorists decided to burn the Abraham Lincoln statue in Chicago. This follows left wing vandals defacing the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. Left wing extremists and terrorists are now linking old Honest Abe Lincoln with confederate statues because Lincoln was president during the civil war. Of course, left wing extremists vandalized the Peace Memorial thinking it was a confederate symbol, when it wasn’t, so they aren’t very smart. Lincoln of course was assassinated by a confederate sympathizer, but that part doesn’t matter to these left wing extremists.

With Chicago calling for the removal of all George Washington and Thomas Jefferson statues in the state, the fact that left wing extremists think Abe Lincoln is a confederate statue shouldn’t really surprise anyone.
Cities and states accelerated their plans to remove Confederate monuments from public property Tuesday as the violence over a Robert E. Lee statue in Charlottesville moved leaders across the country to plan to wipe away much of the remaining Old South imagery.
