An Irish writer for the Washington Post has been triggered by Trump’s use of the phrase ‘paddy wagon.’ In fact, this Washington Post goober says it’s the worst thing Trump said all of last week. The an amazing admission coming from the fake news Washington Post that on a daily basis insults Trump and attributes things to him via anonymous sources. Trump said this while talking about MS13 gangbangers.
Washington Post writer offended by Trump saying ‘paddy wagon’ |

“When you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon — you just see them thrown in, rough — I said, please don’t be too nice,”
The writer claims to be Irish, and thinks he speaks for all Irish people by declaring the term paddy (meaning Patrick) is a slur at all Irish people. This same idiot hack writer still doesn’t know where the phrase paddy wagon came from, but yet is insulted and triggered by it.
Paddy, of course, borrows from the pet form of the common Irish name Patrick and has long been deployed as a slur. The origin of “paddy wagon,” though, is unclear.
So there you have it. According to the Washington Post, Trump is a big meaning because he used the term paddy wagon, which no one seems to know the origin of the phrase. They are offended because Paddy typically refers to Patrick among Irish people. That’s some serious, hard hitting journalism there.
