Have you been paying attention to what’s happening in Venezuela lately? The socialist cesspool has evolved into a dictatorship and people still can’t even buy toilet paper. Someone needs to ask Bernie Sanders about this. Just a few short years ago, Bernie Sanders was bashing America and declaring that the American Dream was being realized in none other than Venezuela. His article is still up on his website at the time of this post. I wonder how long it will take the old communist to remove it.

These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina, where incomes are actually more equal today than they are in the land of Horatio Alger. Who’s the banana republic now?
