If you are planning to head for Arlington National Cemetery for July 4th, don’t bring an American flag. Arlington National Cemetery will not allow American flags. The liberal filth who run Arlington National Cemetery are afraid some might be offended by people waving an American flag on Independence Day. This is how far we’ve come in the twenty first century. It’s also a law, written by the slimy Congress in 2006 and authored by liberal-Republican Mike Rogers. It passed easily in the Congress and was signed by Dubya Bush. The law prohibits display any placard, banner, flag or similar device. The law was written was good intentions. To ban idiots like Westboro Baptist Church from protesting military funerals. Problem is, liberals used it for things like the banning of the American flag, and no one in the Congress ever fixed the flawed bill.

Many Americans gathering to celebrate Independence Day will mark the holiday at Arlington National Cemetery. But for visitors feeling patriotic, there is one item that is banned on the hallowed grounds: a waving American flag.
Earl Granville, a retired Army staff sergeant and veterans advocate who lost his leg in a bombing in Afghanistan, said that he was surprised to learn about the obscure federal law that prohibits visitors from carrying an unfurled U.S. flag at the cemetery.
“There’s absolutely, positively nothing disrespectful whatsoever about carrying the colors to the cemetery where our fallen armed forces are buried,” Granville said.
