There were 20 NO votes on RyanCARE or TrumpCARE today, mostly by so called “moderate” Republicans. Since I am not a big fan of RyanCARE or TrumpCARE, I don’t really have a problem with the following 20 Republicans:

Walter Jones – North Carolina
David Joyce – Ohio
John Katko – New York
Leonard Lance – New Jersey
Frank LoBiondo – New Jersey
Thomas Massie – Kentucky
Patrick Meehan – Pennsylvania
Dave Reichert – Washington
Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (Retiring) Florida
Chris Smith – New Jersey
Mike Turner – Ohio

Notice the pattern with most of these NO votes on TrumpCARE? Most are from Pennsylvania. New Jersey, a liberal filth cesspool and New York also have a lot of no votes. Will Hurd is just a RINO representing a Democrat district in Texas, so his no vote isn’t that all surprising. Mike Coffman is another one in a Democrat district, and typically votes no on big GOP legistation, so again, no surprise for his vote. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen was the only GOP no vote from Florida. She is retiring and hates Trump, so her vote was likely personally motivated because of her hatred of Trump.
Walter Jones is a Ron Paul wannabe, so that’s probably why he voted no. That surprises me, because Amash, another one who tries to play Ron Paul voted yes for the bill. The two from Ohio represent marginally Republican district, so they were probably thinking of their 2018 when they voted no. As far as the rest of Republican no votes, they’ll have to explain why for themselves.
