Today was the annual Easter Egg roll at the White House. Ivanka Trump didn’t appear to be among the Trump family conducting the White House Easter Egg roll. So what does CNN do? Blame Ivanka Trump because she’s Jewish or something. This is CNN. Of course CNN probably isn’t aware that the Easter Bunny and egg rolls aren’t a part of Christian theology. CNN sucks. Basically, CNN accused Ivanka Trump of boycotting the Easter Egg roll because she’s Jewish.

>CNN’s John Berman on Monday promoted a bizarre conspiracy theory as to why Ivanka Trump and her husband Jered Kushner were not visible at Monday’s Easter Egg roll: He theorized it had something to do with the couple being Jewish.
Covering the event live, Berman narrated, “Just so you know, we are looking at pictures from the south lawn of the White House. And all the Trump kids appear to be there.” Then, Berman brought in religion: “Not Ivanka or Jared Kushner. Of course, Ivanka Trump is Jewish. I don’t know if she’s taking part in the Easter egg roll on the south lawn or not. But many of the Trump kids there taking part in some of the festivities to be sure.”
Maybe Berman isn’t aware of this, but the Easter Bunny and egg rolls are not actually part of Christian theology or the religious part of the holiday.
On Sunday, Ivanka Trump tweeted, “Happy Easter. Wishing you and your family a joyous and meaningful day!” She followed-up with a picture of her daughter, adding, “A little over a year ago on Easter Sunday, this little chick was born and our family was complete! #HappyEaster!”
