This whole healthcare debacle that was supposed to be voted on today has finally revealed (to those who couldn’t already see it) that Paul Ryan is weak, ineffective and should vacate the Speaker’s chair. People already knew Ryan was a whore for Wall Street. A lot of Republicans are just like Paul Ryan when it comes to that. They favor open borders to allow corporation to use cheap labor at the expense of American jobs.
Paul Ryan must vacate the chair |
---|
But Paul Ryan’s fiasco with the health care bill has revealed that he is not capable of being in charge. He has shown absolutely no leadership skills with his push for RyanCARE. He’s a compulsive liar when he says RyanCARE would repeal ObamaCARE (it doesn’t.)
It was bad enough when we had a mentally unstable drunk like John Boehner in the Speaker’s chair. Paul Ryan may be sober, but he is not a leader. Ryan bragged for months that he had the votes for his RyanCARE fiasco, and today we’ve come to the point of delaying a vote on the bill.
Donald Trump, for whatever reason has backed Ryan and RyanCARE. Trump should be smart enough to recognize Paul Ryan is not leadership material. Maybe Trump is playing coy here and letting Paul Ryan hang himself over RyanCARE.
Trump, for his part has said no more negotiation and is demanding a vote on RyanCARE tomorrow. Trump might be starting to recognize that RyanCARE is a hopeless cause and wants to move on to tax reform.
If the vote on RyanCARE does come tomorrow, and it fails, there is no way that Paul Ryan can continue being Speaker of the House. Ryan was Obama’s beard when he took over the speaker-ship from Boehner. If Ryan magically drags the bill over the finish line, he should vacate the Speaker’s chair anyway. This RyanCARE fiasco has exposed PauL Ryan for the fraud he really is. He has no credibility left regardless of what happens.
