Earlier today, if you woke up and checked your Twitter account, you might have seen this tweet from McDonalds bashing President Donald Trump and his “small hands.” It also begged for Obama to come back.

Since then, the tweet has been deleted and McDonald’s has posted a followup Tweet claiming their account was “compromised.”
Twitter notified us that our account was compromised. We deleted the tweet, secured our account and are now investigating this.

One thing missing from the McDonald’s followup Tweet is an apology to Donald Trump. One would automatically assume that no one in corporate of McDonald’s would tweet something that would piss over over 60+ million potential customers. It was likely a rogue burger flipper who got access to the account and made the original post.
Still, McDonald’s owns President Trump an apology, and at least as of now they haven’t issued one.
