After all the needless delays, Rex Tillerson has finally been confirmed by the Senate to become Secretary of State. Tillerson passed with a 56-43 margin, only needing 51 to be confirmed. Four Democrats, who have reelection coming up voted along with Republicans to confirm Tillerson. Those four desperate Democrats were: Joe Manchin (West Virginia) Heidi Heitkamp (North Dakota), Mark Warner (Virginia) and Angus King (Maine) who claims to be an independent but is nothing more than a Democrat like Bernie Sanders.

Vulnerable Democrats that didn’t vote to confirm Tillerson include Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Bill Nelson of Florida, Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin, Jon Tester of Montana, Sherrod Brown of Ohio and Bob Casey of Pennsylvania.
Today’s vote on Tillerson should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect for Trump’s other cabinet picks and Neil Gorsuch confirmation vote. These slimy Democrats already have plenty of ammo for the opposition to run ads against them in 2018. Their votes like today’s is just another nail in their coffin.
