Remember when the media and Democrats were hyping about how they would not only hold the Senate, but take back to House? LOL Funny times indeed, as the Democrats not only lost the White House and Senate, but only managed to gain six house seats (in liberal districts). There is only one house race still undecided “officially” and that’s Darrell Issa’s California CD49 district. Issa in previous years never had a problem with re-election bids. His district includes parts of Orange County and San Diego, a fairly Republican area in an otherwise liberal shit-hole of a state. But this year was different. Issa made a lot of big promises on Benghazi and the investigating the Clinton Foundation in previous years. As usual with politicians, this turned out to be nothing but hype, and I guess the people of his district got tired of the lies and fluff.

Issa himself has claimed victory and has about a 3,000 vote lead. But the race has not officially been called yet and his liberal opponent hasn’t conceded. Issa was also a big Trump critic. Guess that’s didn’t work out so well either.
