Colorado, a state deemed “safe” for Clinton just weeks ago is starting to look bad for Hillary Clinton and the Democrats. Over 7,000 more Republicans have turned in their ballots in early voting. Back in 2012, Democrats held a substantial lead in early voting before the presidential election. Republicans lead early voting in 2014 too. That was the election where abortion boy Udall lost to Corey Gardener. Also remember that in all the polls released to day, no matter how much they are over sampling Democrats, independents are breaking for Trump between 5 and 10%. About 29% of the ballots returned so far are from independent voters.

This is also a change from last week. Up until Thursady, Democrat ballots had been leading returned Republican ballots. Since Friday, Republican ballots have outpaced Democrat ballots substantially.
