When was the last time Maine was considered a battle ground state? It is this year as Donald Trump is up by 10 points in Maine’s second congressional district. Why this matters is because Maine distributes their electoral college votes by districts, so if Trump wins CD2, he’ll get the electoral college vote, which no Republican has gotten since 1988. Trump is also in a virtual tie for the entire state.
Trump up YUGE in Maine CD2, +5 in Ohio polls |

In Ohio, a new Bloomberg poll which is also left wing biased shows Trump up on Clinton by 5 points in a four way race, his best polling in Ohio to date. In a two way race in Ohio Trump still crushes sick Hillary 48% to 43%.
Of course, it will all come down to the debates, especially the first one on September 26th. But if Trump can hold his own against biased moderators like Clinton Global Initiative member Matt Lauer, he should be in the driver’s seat.
