If you want to see how far the entertainment industry has fallen in the twenty first century, look no further than Will Ferrell. He’s an unfunny comedian who appears in basically every movie that’s released these days. Ferrell was even going to mock Ronald Reagan in a movie about his Alzheimer’s disease. The backlash was epic and like a typical, leftist cowardly piece of trash, Ferrell cancelled plans to produce and start in the mocking film.

Will Ferrell has canceled plans to star in and produce a comedic film mocking President Ronald Reagan’s tragic battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Page Six reported Friday that Ferrell backed out of the controversial film, titled Reagan, following a major backlash from the public outraged by the attempt to mock the late president’s struggle with Alzheimer’s.
A spokesperson for the actor said Friday, “The REAGAN script is one of a number of scripts that had been submitted to Will Ferrell which he had considered. While it is by no means a ‘Alzheimer’s comedy’ as has been suggested, Mr. Ferrell is not pursuing this project.”
Variety first reported on Wednesday that Ferrell, 48, was slated to play the 40th president in the film, which was described as a “hilarious political satire.”
The film’s script is set in 1984, shortly after Reagan won a landslide reelection for his second term. It is centered on a young aide who must convince the mentally diminished President Reagan that he is an actor playing the president in a movie.
I’m still waiting for a movie mocking JFK and Bill Clinton’s addiction to out of wedlock sex. If Jimmy Carter had been a Republican, I bet we’d have a movie mocking his dead brother Billy by now too.
