Next Tuesday is the winner take all primary in Wisconsin, and it’s looking good for Ted Cruz and bad for Donald Trump. The latest poll from Marquette shows Ted Cruz at 40% and Trump at 30%, giving Ted Cruz his biggest poll lead yet in Wisconsin.

Of course, a lot can happen between now and April 5th. Things can change, stories can come out and this Marquette poll’s sample size is relatively small. But Cruz has lead in three of the last four polls in Wisconsin. Scott Walker’s endorsement of Ted Cruz should help Cruz among Republicans in the dairy state.
Cruz really needs to win Wisconsin, because the next state is New York. You know Trump will dominate there.
Another thing to watch in the Wisconsin primary is that it’s an open primary, meaning crazy progressives can vote for Trump to try and help him blow up against Hillary Clinton.
