For once, the polls were right. Donald Trump crushed everyone in Mississippi as did Hillary Clinton the crook over the communist Bernie Sanders. Of course there was only one poll done this year out of Mississippi. Trump was ahead of Ted Cruz by 24 points in a poll conducted about a week ago. The poll was of 995 likely voters and had Trump at 41% and Cruz at 17%. We’ll see if this margin holds, or if the numbers tighten at all.

According to the exit polls in Mississippi, voters were split 49% for Trump and 36% for Cruz. Much closer than the poll indicated but still a blow out for Trump.
