Back in the year 2000, Donald Trump was toying with the idea of running for president under the ‘Reform Party’ banner. But Trump dropped the idea of running for president in 2000 because according to him at the time, the Reform Party was self destructing (kind of like the GOP is today.) Trump named David Duke as a racist and bigot back in 2000 as an example of why the reform party was self destructing.
