Fox News schlonged themselves by pissing off their base. Ratings for last night’s GOP debate were about half of what they were the last time they held a debate in August. The arrogance of Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace is now costing Fox News ad revenue millions of dollars. Donald Trump’s events on CNN and MSNBC didn’t really get huge bumps in the ratings for covering Trump’s veterans event. CNN had 1.7 million veiwers for the time period of the debate while MSNBC had about a million. I suppose when you think about CNN and MSNBC’s normal ratings, maybe this was a huge jump, for them. But I expected much higher numbers for Trump’s event with all the people Fox News has pissed off.
Donald Trump’s event was also on C-SPAN which no commercials, and no liberal commentary. Plus there were thousands of live streams of Trump’s event. Bottom line is this. Fox News has suffered irreparable damage with their base. When you have the likes of Bill O’Reilly, Megyn Kelly, Brit Hume, Geraldo, Charles Krauthammer and George Will talking down to anyone who dares support someone they don’t deem acceptable, this is what happens.
WOW! @Fox lost HALF their ratings last night. We can stand against this tyranny. https://t.co/Cy1qytO0VZ

It’s also a slap in the face to GOP viewers when they hire a Muslim Bernie Sanders supporter to ask a question about ‘Muslim hate crimes’.
