Sarah Palin endorses Donald Trump for president. That rumor last night has become reality today. Sarah Palin was once a big fan of Ted Cruz, so what persuaded Palin to flip and start Trump? Was it that whole pizza summit thing back in 2012 when Trump and Palin were eating a slice of pizza with a knife and fork back in 2011?

I’ve soured a bit on Donald Trump since he started his birther BS against Ted Cruz. I would still vote for him in a general election, but the birth crap is too leftist for my tastes. Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Trump I don’t think will make much of a difference one way or another. The Trump supports will still support The Donald while the supporters of other candidates supporters will stick to them. I don’t think Palin has the popularity or drawing power that she did when she was John McCain’s VP. In fact, she even endorsed John McCain in 2010 for the Senate and will likely do it again this year. So meh.
