A Denver Police officer has been shot multiple times in the area of Federal Boulevard and Clyde Place. The Denver officer who has not yet been named was shot multiple times during a routine traffic stop.

Four schools in the area are on lockdown after the Denver officer was shot as the shooting suspect is still on the loose. The schools on lockdown are North High School, Columbian Elementary School, Skinner Middle School, Escuela Valdez Elementary School and Sandoval Elementary School.
