Remember when last night’s GOP debate was supposed to last 90 minutes? For some reason, it just went on and on and on. Now we know why. CNN and the fat cats extended the GOP debate an extra hour just so they could pocket more ad revenue. Did Reince Priebus authorize this? The first 90 minutes of the debate was good. The rest, not so much.

It was bad enough that CNN let bottom feeders like Chris Christie and John Kasich participate in the main debate to begin with. Those retreads should have been booted to the early debate. But extending the debate an hour continuing to pit candidate after candidate while trying to raise money ad revenue?
I suppose, considering how terrible CNN’s ratings on every other day of the week when they don’t have a GOP debate, they have to make their money while they can. With 23 million watching the GOP debate, that basically equals a week’s worth of total viewership for CNN.
