Lets look at the numbers and stats of last night’s GOP debate on CNN. Nearly half of the questions asked focused somehow on Donald Trump. We are talking three hours here. CNN extended the debt and extra hour to pocket more ad revenue.
Twenty six of the questions asked at the GOP debate last night had Donald Trump’s name in it.
Eighteen of those twenty six questions about Donald Trump were asked to other candidates.

So you can see what CNN was trying to do here. Bash Trump and get the other candidates to join along in the bashing. I’ll give the candidates (aside from Bush) credit though. They really didn’t take the bait. Carly Fiorina’s response to Trump’s comment about her face was perfect. Not long winded, just on point.
I guarantee you that Reince Preibus was in on this too and CNN was just happy to oblige.
And what the hell ever happened to Hugh Hewitt? He was supposed to be the conservative moderator of this debate, yet all we saw with Jake Tapper and Dana Bash baiting the candidates to bash each other and Trump. Did Hewitt even get to ask any questions?
