CNN got nearly a month’s worth of ratings out of the GOP Debate on CNN last night. The moderators were horrible, Hugh Hewitt, who was hyped as being a moderator as able to ask one, maybe two questions all night, and CNN tried to dress up and make up Dana Bash as if she were Megyn Kelly. CNN still failed to top Fox News’ record for ratings in last month’s debate. But the 23 million who watched last night was the largest audience ever for CNN. Even when they had their cable news monopoly for about 16 years, no other program on CNN even approached last night’s audience. The previously highest rated debate on the CandyCrowley News Network was a 2008 Democrat debate that got a scant 8 million viewers.

Isn’t it funny an ironic that one of the most liberal biased ‘news networks’ like CNN gets it’s best ratings ever from a conservative show? Do you honestly think the Democrat debate next month on CNN will get even half the audience the GOP debate got?
Basically, the entire debate was CNN’s Jake Tapper and Dana Bash trying to get candidates to pick fights with each other, mostly against Trump. Carly Fiorina dominated the first half of the debate, then CNN decided to ignore her for most of the rest of the debate.
Ted Cruz didn’t get a question until 45 minutes into the debate, and Marco Rubio didn’t get a question for the first half hour.
Anyone who could have sit through the debate last night and still defend Fake Jake Tapper is kidding themselves. Last night Tapper revealed, even to the conservative who love him what a total hack he is.
