So who do you think won the GOP debate tonight? Drudge Report’s poll has nearly 60% saying Donald Trump winning the debate. I thought Carly Fiorina dominated the first half of the debate, then CNN began ignoring her. I also thought Ted Cruz did very well (in the limited amount of time he got to speak). I think all of the candidates did fairly well, except for one. John Kasich. He sounded like Obama and Hillary Clinton out there tonight, constantly interrupted others and basically just came off as a gas bag.

Frankly, John Kasich has no right being in the ‘main’ debate. His poll numbers are horrid, no one cares what he says, and he’s basically the 2015-16 version of John Huntsman. The next time the GOP has it’s debate in October, it really needs to cut the number of participants in the main debate in half. Cut it to the top 5 or 6, and put the rest in the kids table debate where they belong.
