So what affect did the attack dog GOPe debate on Fox News have? Probably exactly what Fox News, Roger Ailes, Megyn Kelly and the rest of the Rovepublicans didn’t want. Donald Trump was steady, losing just one point in the polls. The big winners were Ben Carson and Ted Cruz who Fox News tried to ingore as long as they can. Ben Carson jumped into second place at 12%, gaining five from an earlier August poll. Ted Cruz, also ignored by the Fox News hacks jumped to 10% and third in the GOP primary polls.
Golden boy Jeb Bush has the exactly opposite result in this latest Fox News poll. Bush who was second behind Trump at 15% in an earlier Fox News poll has dropped to just 9%, out of the top three in the GOP primary field. Bush lost six points after Fox News lobbed softballs at him during the GOP debate.
