Roger Ailes is really trying to kiss Donald Trump’s ass after last week’s Jerry Springer show masquerading as a GOP debate. The Donald is still pissed, and ‘allegedly’ turned down a ‘clear the air’ interview with Megyn Kelly that Ailes offered him. After the backlash Fox News received for being exposed as Jeb Bush pushers, Roger Ailes has been doing whatever he can to try and pick up the pieces. Tonight for instance, Sean Hannity had an interview with Donald Trump. His first appearance on the JEB News Network since the so called debate.

The topic of Donald Trump VS Megyn Kelly is getting beyond stale at this point. What’s done is done. Fox News and especially Megyn Kelly showed their cards. Move on already. Next month’s GOP debate on CNN will be worse with Hugh Hewitt and Fake Jake Tapper.
True or not? On the one hand, this comes from Gabriel Sherman, one of Fox’s most relentless critics in the media, a guy who published an unflattering bio of Ailes last year and who offhandedly refers to Fox’s audience as “misogynist” in the course of this very post. On the other hand, it makes all the sense in the world that Ailes would offer Trump a bonanza interview with Kelly after the debate given the mega-ratings that would produce. If you were him, wouldn’t you do the same?
