Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Sullivan who was forty years old and from Springfield, Massachusetts. Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Sullivan survived two tours of duty in Iraq, and earned two Purple Hearts. Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Sullivan joined the military when he was just nineteen years old.

U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Squire “Skip” Wells attended Georgia Southern University and was studying history. The Marietta, GA – native was among four Marines gunned down, WGCL in Atlanta confirmed. Squire “Skip” Wells was just 21 years old.
Sgt. Carson Holmquist of Grantsburg, Wisconsin had a wife and young child.
