Guess what? If you have any Dukes of Hazzard memorabilia with the General Lee you have yourself a collectors item. You will also probably be labeled a racist, since it has the Confederate flag on the roof. Now, even the General Lee of the Dukes of Hazzard is falling prey to political correctness bullshit as Warner Brothers will no longer be stop the licensing of General Lee toys and other items featuring the Confederate flag.
If you were a kid like me in the late ’70s and early ’80s, you probably where a big fan of the Dukes of Hazzard. Seeing the Confederate flag on top of the General Lee didn’t make me, or you go out and shoot people out of hatred. The flag on the car didn’t influence out behavior at all. You may have even had a Dukes of Hazzard Lunch Box back then which featured the General Lee and the flag on the roof the car.

So what’s so different today in the twenty-first century than in 1980? Oh that’s right. Liberal PC bullshit has been running this country since the late ’80s, so things like the General Lee are now considered racist. The Confederate flag hasn’t changed since then. Just because one little bony, bowl cut terrorist shot up a black church, suddenly it’s the flag’s fault? If the Dukes of Hazzard were on TV today, the General Lee would probably look like this:
