After a sales spike of 3,620% on Amazon, they and Ebay have decided to ban the sale of Confederate flag merchandise. If you think you living in the world of George Orwell’s 1984, you would be right. eBay, the leftist company based in Northern California calls the Confederate Flag a ‘contemporary symbol of divisiveness and racism’. This comes on the heals of Wal-Mart pulling all Confederate Flag related merchandise on Monday.
Do you want to buy any memorabilia from the Dukes of Hazzard like the General Lee? You can’t not, at least at E-Bay, Walmart and Amazon. This is getting beyond ridiculous.

Prior to Amazon’s announcement, Vanity Fair reported that sales of the Confederate battle flag went up by 3,620 percent on Amazon.

EBay Inc., based in San Jose, California, said it will begin notifying sellers of its decision and begin removing items that contain the Confederate flag on Tuesday. A search for “Confederate flag” brought up 1,400 listings, including pins, watches, ties, hats and sunglasses with an image of the flag on it.
Rival Amazon.com Inc., which also sells Confederate flags and other items on its site, did not respond to requests for comment.
Wal-Mart announced Monday that it was pulling Confederate flag items off of shelves and its website.
