Rep. Elijah Cummings home caught on fire this morning but no one was home in Baltimore. The city that saw a record amount of people killed in May is starting June off with a real bang. Elijah Cummings is a slimy Democrat who claims to be a man of the people, especially the poor and middle class. He is so middle-class that the fire reportedly started on the THIRD floor of his home. I don’t know too many ‘middle-class’ or poor people with three story homes. The cause of the fire right now is unknown and Cummings will not comment. Elijah Cummings home isn’t inn the gheto part of Baltimore either. He’s in the big, ritz, exclusive part. He can afford such things like a three story home after decades of ripping off the American taxpayer.

Cummings spokesperson did not immediately return a request for comment from The Hill.
Cummings said he was in a Transportation Committee hearing on Capitol Hill when he learned about the fire.
“The fire started on the third floor of the house and the Fire Department is investigating the cause,” he said in a statement.
“Thankfully, no one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries. I am grateful to all of those who have expressed their concern.”
The Democratic lawmaker often discussing his neighborhood in public appearances, and spent time in the city following the police-involved death of Freddie Gray, a black 25-year-old male, in April.
