The old codger John McCain had another one of his patented tantrums on the Senate floor today. During the debate over cloture for the USA Patroit Act, McCain tried to steal five minutes of debate time from Rand Paul, and those arguing against cloture of the Patriot Act. John McCain also accused Rand Paul of not knowing Senate rules. The old fossil John McCain knows he’s in deep trouble for re-election to the Senate next year. He’s desperately trying to hold on as long as he can. If he can find enough dumb voters in Arizona, he’ll get another six year term. This tantrum against Rand Paul and attempt to steal opposition debate time wouldn’t help him.
