“We should be explicit that this is, I think, precisely parallel to the people in the 50s and 60s who thought there was a religious obligation to keep the races separate,” Toobin said. “And they really believed that.”
“We made a decision as a society that, you know what, we are not going to indulge that,” Toobin added. “We are not going to allow that in our society even if you actually believe it. And the question now is, are we going to do the same thing for homosexuality and same-sex couples.”
Let me try to explain the difference to all your leftist fascists including Jeffrey and other leftists at CNN. Gay and lesbian is not a race. Some call it a lifestyle choice, others say it isn’t. Regardless, not wanting to bring pizzas to a gay wedding isn’t violating someone’s civil rights. It’s a relgious decision. Funny how Toobin doesn’t say a word about Muslims who refused to bake cakes for gay weddings for religious reasons.
