Seven of the top ten poorest cities have one very glaring attribute. These seven cities have NOT had a Republican mayor since 1965. The other three cities in this list of ten (actually eleven) cities have had a Republican mayor less than 40% of the time since 1965.
In the last 50 years since the so called ‘war on poverty’ began, poor people have gotten poorer, under Democrat rule. Tell me again how the Democrats are the party of the middle class and poor. Seems to me nothing’s changed with Democrats over the last 50 years. They were KKK racists then with the plantation mentality then, and are the same today. I guess they just hide it better under the hippie, tree hugging image.
