The media is in love with ISIS again. ISIS is planning on releasing 29 Assyrian Christians. That’s the good news. The bad news? ISIS has over 300 more Assyrian Christians that are facing beheading or being burned alive. But that didn’t stop for instance CNN for praising ISIS about how they are different ‘from other extremist groups’ for releasing the 29 Assyrian Christians. CNN is also still under reporting that number of Assyrian Christians taken hostage by ISIS.

| ISIS to release 29 Assyrian Christians |
An ISIS court in northern Syria has ordered the release of 29 Assyrian Christian hostages among more than 200 captured by the Sunni extremist group, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Saturday, citing an Assyrian commander.
The Syrian Observatory said ISIS jurists told the commander that the fate of the other kidnapped Assyrians has yet to be decided by ISIS Sharia courts.
The number of people executed by the terrorist group has also climbed steadily.
Since the declaration of its “caliphate” last June, ISIS has killed 1,969 people, the Syrian Observatory said Saturday. Nearly two-thirds of them — 1,238 people — were civilians.
Six were children and eight were women, the group said.
Of the rest, 95 were fighters from the al Qaeda-affiliated rebel group al-Nusra Front, the Syrian Observatory said, and 511 were officers and soldiers of regime forces.
