Harry Reid illegally used Senate resources for political purposes (allegedly). The ethics complaints filed against Reid today accusing the crusty old Democrat of a meeting between Reid and his caucus Democrats. The Senate funds were used to promote his 2016 re-election campaign. That is a violations of Senate ethics rules. Of course, since Harry Reid is a liberal Democrat, don’t expect any news coverage of this. Ethics and Harry Reid (or Democrats in general) just don’t go together.

Senator Reid’s actions appear to make a mockery of both the Senate Ethics Rules and federal law,” the complaint states. “He reportedly announced his reelection campaign from the confines of an official Senate meeting room located mere steps from the Senate floor.”
The complaint was filed on Tuesday by the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT), a new conservative ethics watchdog group run by former U.S. Attorney Matt Whitaker.
