Stewart: Were you protected in the Lebanon? Did they just leave you out in the hills? What was the situation?
Williams: Yeah, I’m protected. I wear what’s called level five body armor, which is the best you can get. We are in an armored vehicle. You take all the precautions you can take. Williams: No, it’s too real. No one has time. We’re up in an Israeli military Blackhawk helicopter. Here’s a view of rockets I’ve never seen–passing underneath us. Fifteen hundred feet beneath us. You know, and we’ve got the gunner doors on this thing. And I’m saying to the general–some 4 star. ‘So if we’re 1500 feet it wouldn’t take much to adjust the aim & try to do ring toss through our open doors would it?’ They’re firing real bullets over there.
