Brian Williams finally admitted, 12 years that he lied about being in a 159th Aviation Regiment’s Chinook helicopter hit with an RPG over Iraq in 2003. NBC and Williams have been lying about RPG attack on the helicopter for twleve years. Brian Williams even claimed again, last Friday at a NHL game that he was in a 159th Aviation Regiment’s Chinook helicopter hit by an RPG weapon over Iraq.
After people who where actually on this 159th Aviation Regiment’s Chinook helicopter complained that Williams was no where near the helicopter when it was fired upon in 2003, Williams finally tried to recant his story. Sorry Brian, twelve years too late.
The admission came after crew members on the 159th Aviation Regiment’s Chinook that was hit by two rockets and small arms fire told Stars and Stripes that the NBC anchor was nowhere near that aircraft or two other Chinooks flying in the formation that took fire. Williams arrived in the area about an hour later on another helicopter after the other three had made an emergency landing, the crew members said.
“I would not have chosen to make this mistake,” Williams said. “I don’t know what screwed up in my mind that caused me to conflate one aircraft with another.”
Let me go all Joe Wilson on this NBC hack: Hey Brian Williams, YOU LIE!

Uh, yea.. Kind of sucks when you get caught in a twelve year old bold face lie doesn’t Brian Williams? He and NBC should be ashamed of themselves for lying to the American public for twevleve years. Of course, being that this Brian Williams and NBC, we know they aren’t sorry at all.
