The New York Rangers of the NHL honored the two assassinated NYPD officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos before their game against the Washington Capitals. The NHL has been one of the few sports leagues that has stayed away from the politics of Mike Brown and Eric Garner. You don’t have hockey players coming out with ‘I can’t breathe’ hockey shirts. Tonight, before the national anthem at Madison Square Garden, the fans honored Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos with standing ovations, and chants of NYPD.
Compare this classy tribute to Wenjian Liu, 32, and Rafael Ramos to the pieces of garbage involved in ‘shut down Fifth ave‘ tonight.

Glad to see that there are still some good New Yorkers left. Considering that communist Bill de Blasio was elected with nearly 3/4ths of the vote.
Well done Rangers honoring Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos
