All we’ve been hearing since the Democrat bloodbath on Tuesday is how the map was so favorable for Republicans. Even Obama whined about how it was the most favorable map for Republicans since Eisenhower was president. Ok, let’s look a look at some of the senate seats that flipped on Tuesday, and just how ‘favorable’ the map really was:
Montana: This is the senate seat formerly held by Max Baucus. He was elected to the Senate in 1978 and no Republican had held this senate seat since 1913. The second senate seat in Montana, currently held by Democrat Jon Tester has only had one Republican hold the seat since 1953 (Conrad Burns).
West Virginia: No Republican had held a Senate seat in West Virginia since the 1950’s. No woman, had ever been elected to Senate in West Virginia. Shelley Moore Capito not only becomes the first Republican to hold a Senate seat in that state since the ’50s, but also the first female ever elected to the Senate in the state of West Virginia.
Iowa: had never elected a woman from either party to the senate or house in the state’s history. Not only does Joni Ernst’s win turn the Senate seat to Republican for the first time since 1985, but she also becomes the first female ever elected to the Senate in the state’s history.
Arkansas: The Pryor family dynasty had held this senate seat for nearly 30 years. David Pryor (the father) held the seat for 18 years and Mark Pryor, his son held the Senate seat since 2003. Only two Republicans have ever been elected to the senate from Arkansas since the 1800’s. One was John Boozeman who won in 2010, and another was Tim Hutchinson who served one term, and was beaten by Pryor in 2003. Arkansas will now have two Republican senators in office for the first time since the 1870’s.

North Carolina: The state of John Edwards, corrupt Kay Hagan had not had two Republicans serving as Senators since the 1990’s. North Carolina voted for Obama in 2008 and nearly went Obama in 2012.
South Dakota: had not had two sitting Republican senators since the 1980’s. This is of course the state of corrupt leftist Tom Daschle. He was the first Senate Minority Leader to get kicked out of office during the 2004 election.
Colorado: this state has had plenty of Republicans elected to the Senate in past years. But all we were told by the leftist media is that Colorado is now a blue state and Republicans are dead there. Even in potville, Corey Garnder was able to beat Mark Udall Uterus and finally put an end to the farce known as the war on women.
So yea, let’s hear about how the Republicans won the Senate only because of a ‘favorable map’. I guess that explains why the Republicans won the governorship in Illinois, Maryland and Massachuttes too.
Two more states, yet to be decided are likely to go Republican for the Senate too, unless crooked Democrats can do enough voter fraud. Alaska and Louisiana should go Republican.
