Larry Sabato’s ‘Crystal Ball’ is predicting that Republicans gain eight Senate seats from the mid-term election, and nine house seats. If Sabato’s predictions come true, Republicans will own 53 seats in the Senate to the Democrats 47. Republicans will also have 243 house eats, compared to Democrats only having 192. Sabato predicts Republicans will hold all their Senate seats, including Kansas and Georgia and will gain in Montana, West Virginia, South Dakota, Iowa, Colorado, Louisiana, Arkansas and Alaska.
Two other seats to watch are in New Hampshire and North Carolina. With Kay Hagan’s stimulus scandal out there, though mostly bottled up by the media over there, those two seats could also flip, giving the Republicans a 10 Senate seat gain.
At least one race tomorrow will go to run off. Louisiana is basically a guarantee to go to run-off because two Republicans are going to split the vote against racist pig Mary Landieru. The runoff in Louisiana will be December 6th. Bill Cassidy is favored to win the run-off.
In Georgia, if David Perdue can get over 50% of the vote, he will avoid a run-off against far-left extremist liberal Michelle Nunn. Otherwise, the run-off for that race will be in January 2015.
